Why is there a $39 shipping fee?
Due to their rare nature and extremely high value, every StudioForge™ piece is shipped from our Toronto vault, exclusively reserved for StudioForge™ items, directly to your door. We use a white-glove service including custom protective packaging, fully-insured transit, and signature confirmation upon arrival. The $39 shipping fee* allows us to partially absorb these costs, ensuring your piece arrives in pristine condition.
If you choose to pay in full, we waive this fee and include free shipping.
Deposit Structure
Why do I need to pay a deposit?
To secure your pre-order, a non-refundable deposit of 20% is collected upfront. This guarantees your item is reserved. Here’s how it works:
- 20% deposit locks in your collectible.
- Remaining balance will be automatically collected when your item ships.
- Your item is reserved exclusively for you during this time.
What if I cannot pay the remaining balance?
The remaining balance due will be automatically collected when your item ships. We will let you know in advance that your StudioForge™ item is due to be shipped. In case of payment failure, we will contact you via e-mail to process the remaining balance within a set deadline (from your original account or a new payment method). We will attempt to collect payment up to two more times within this timeframe. Should the payment still not be processed or if there is a failure to respond, the order will be cancelled and the deposit forfeited.
What if I want to cancel my order?
Orders can be cancelled for up to 24 hours after purchase. Your deposit is non-refundable. To cancel your order, please email info@dalstrong.com with your Order ID.
What Is Your Return Policy?
For defective / damaged products
If your item arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We’ll work with you to provide a replacement or refund, depending on stock availability.
Because many of our items are limited edition, replacements may not always be available. In those cases, a full refund will be issued.
Please note:
Due to the handcrafted nature of each StudioForge™ piece, minor variations in paint or structural elements may occur. These do not affect the function, quality, or collectible value of the item, and are not considered defects. We reserve the right to decline damage claims for issues that do not significantly impact the integrity or presentation of the piece.
To start a return and damage claim, please contact info@dalstrong.com with:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- At least three clear photos of the item and packaging
For undamaged products
If you wish to return an item that is neither defective nor damaged in transit, note that a restocking fee will apply. This amount is subject to change and will be communicated prior to return approval.
To return an item, you must:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery to arrange return
- Return the item in unused, re-sellable condition
- Packaging must also be in re-sellable condition
- Return must be received within 14 days days of your return request
- Customer is responsible for return shipping
- Refund will be issued after inspection and approval

Fulfillment & Shipping
What if the product arrives earlier than the anticipated stock date?
Occasionally, production or inbound inventory may arrive sooner than expected. When a pre-order item arrives before the estimated ship window published at the time of purchase, Dalstrong will notify you that the item is ready and ahead of schedule.
If your item arrives early, we will:
- Contact you by e-mail to confirm your shipping address and payment method
- Offer the option to collect your remaining balance early
- Provide you with a deadline for which the remaining balance is due
- Ship your order as soon as the balance is paid and details are confirmed.
Early arrival does not affect the price that you paid, or the terms of your order. It simply means that the product is available for delivery to you earlier than anticipated.
If we are unable to collect your remaining balance within the stated timeline, we may release the inventory to other customers. You may still complete your payment afterward, but shipment will occur based on inventory and stock availability.
Delays to Pre-Order Products
While we aim to provide accurate estimated ship windows for all pre-order items, these dates are projections and may change due to production, transportation or supply chain factors beyond our control.
If a pre-order item is delayed, Dalstrong will notify you via e-mail as soon as updated information becomes available. We will provide:
- The new estimated shipping timeline
- The reason for the delay, when possible
- Any additional relevant updates on production or fulfillment
Your pre-order will remain secure, and no action is required unless otherwise stated. If a delay impacts your ability to receive the item, please contact our customer service team at info@dalstrong.com.
